Summer is a great time of the year to engage in some serious outdoor sporting activity, as long as you can stand the heat. If you do not have a favourite sport yet, then there is no better time to pick one up and hit the field to train on the same. Get your pals together or join a class to play a team sport like football, or find a partner and tag along for a game of badminton or tennis. Sporting activities always are always fun with friends and is one of the most joyous avenues to beat the heat.

Try your hand at arts & crafts

Arts and crafts projects can take time and requires patience one seldom has during student life. But they are perfect for summertime and can put your creative skillsets to use. These projects can range from fancy origami paper projects to using melting crayons on hot rocks to produce vivid designs or patterns.

Put on the chef’s hat

There is a famous quote that says cooking involves so many disciplines like math, chemistry, reading, and history; going beyond kitchens and ovens to deliver sheer pleasure to satisfy one’s hunger.  If you don’t know how to cook or possess knowledge on food, you could try learning some recipes during the summer vacations. There are thousands of recipes available online and on cookbooks, which can be picked up from the library or bookstores. Try different and wacky combinations to make a nice cold summer drink and dare your friends to taste something different.Make a chocolate peanut butter parfait as a delicious dessert or prepare a dip to be paired with crackers. If you’re ambitious, you could even make homemade bread and surprise your family and friends.
